AustraliaAustralia is a country and continent in the southern hemisphere, also including the major island of Tasmania and other islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Australia is a country with endless sunbaked horizons, dense tropical rainforests and chilly southern beaches.

For thousands of years, the mainland has been inhabited by indigenous Australians. The eastern half of Australia was later claimed by the British, after being discovered by Dutch explorers. Six colonies became the Commonwealth of Australia in 1901.

Melbourne

Melbourne is a large Australian city with a variety of culture. It has been nominated several times in top 3 of worldwide ranking, as one of the best cities in the world to live in. Melbourne boasts great events, a passion for food and wine and a fabulous arts scene, a non-stop program of festivals, renowned dining and major art exhibitions. From luxury hotels to rustic farmstays, Melbourne offers a range of accommodation options to suit your style and budget.

Perth

Visit the Sunset Coast in Perth, if you enjoy long relaxing walks along clean sandy beaches, swimming in the surf on a warm sunny day, or simply lazing on a beach towel while watching the world go by. The city centre is located alongside the peaceful waters of the Swan River. Perth city centre bustles with activity and offers a range of choices for shopping. Just a short ferry ride from Perth is Rottnest Island, a popular holiday destination.

Adelaide

Adelaide is one of the best planned cities in the world, a thriving city with plenty of attractions. The city has restaurants, entertainment and a good base for exploring the surrounding areas. To the west is Adelaide’s coastline, with beaches and seaside suburbs. Adelaide Hills is also close, with national parks and reserves.

Sydney

Sydney is the jewel of the South Pacific. The word describing Sydney Australia is diversity, a city of diverse culture, with a diverse ethnic blend, diverse shopping and diverse experiences. Sydney has a temperate climate with almost all sunny days within a year. Especially the summer season, December to February, can have strong sunny days, so wear a hat and sunscreen.

Brisbane

Brisbane is Australia’s third largest city. Situated upstream from the mouth of the Brisbane River, Brisbane is ideally placed as Australia’s most northern capital on the Pacific Rim. After the hosting of 1982 Commonwealth Games and Expo 88, Brisbane has developed into a lively, cosmopolitan city. The city has several interesting districts, a good street cafe scene, a great riverside park, a busy cultural calendar and decent nightlife.
