Best of DusseldorfDusseldorf is one of the best cities of Germany in quality of living, one of the world’s most elegant shopping metropolises, the top address for modern and contemporary art in the country. Stroll, marvel and shop along Dusseldorf’s Magnificent Mile, in Konigsallee, which formed the city boundary on the fortifications that had been later torn down.

Nordpark is a beautiful and popular place, an attractive park with a Japanese garden and water. The Berlin Television Tower inaugurated in 1982 is one of the highest buildings of the city.

Atmospheric, lively and urban, the Burgplatz in the old part of the town is to Dusseldorf what the Piazza is to Italians. The Rhine embankment promenade is considered worldwide the most beautiful walk along the Rhine.

Kaiserswerth, with The Palatinate and the Suitbertus basilica, has only been part of Düsseldorf since 1929.
