There are many tourist attractions to explore in Honolulu, such as historical Chinatown, with its numerous restaurants and medicine shops. Honolulu is Hawaii’s largest and most bustling city and is packed with sights, activities, and a fair amount of history.

The beaches around Honolulu are exquisite, starting with the world famous Waikiki Beach. Stretching from Hilton Hawaiian Village in the west to Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head in the east, this may be the most famous white sand beach in the world.

Located in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Kahaloa and Ulukou beaches are the city’s most visited after Waikiki Beach. Surfing is one of the most popular attractions here and outrigger canoes and catamarans are available for hire.

Shopping is another pass-time in Honolulu and you are spoiled for choice with the likes of the Aloha Tower Marketplace complex and Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Aloha Tower Marketplace is Honolulu’s most well-known shopping center and consists of numerous shops featuring clothing, jewelry and art.

The Honolulu Zoo houses an assortment of exotic animals and includes the expansive African Savanna that allows the animals to wander around at will in their perceived natural environment.

Located in downtown Honolulu and boasting a richly adorned interior filled with European furniture, Iolani Palace is a beautifully restored 19th-century palace, built by King Kalakaua.
