Start your walk in Northbridge, Perth’s cultural and entertainment center. Perth has also wonderful beaches, such as the Cottesloe Beach, one of Australia’s most striking urban beaches, Trigg Beach or Scarborough Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Perth.
Perth has several great parks and gardens. Kings Park & Botanic Garden has over 13,000 species of Western Australian plants and contains one of the world’s largest areas of natural bush land close to a city.
Nambung National Park offers beautiful beaches and coastal plains. In the midst of it all, the unique Pinnacles Desert. In Cohunu Koala Park you can see koalas, deers, kangaroos, dingoes and many birds in a giant aviary.
In Western Australian Museum, the main attraction is the museum’s extensive collection of Aboriginal artifacts. It also has a dinosaur gallery for the kids. The Art Gallery of Western Australia is home to nineteenth century paintings, Art Nouveau, and art from Western Australia.
