DusseldorfDusseldorf is maybe the city with the best quality of life from Germany. Capital of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Dusseldorf is also an economic centre, situated on the River Rhine.

With a high population density (the metropolitan area alone has over 10 million inhabitants), Dusseldorf is renowned for its many events and for its fashion and trade fairs. Much of Dusseldorf’s Altstadt quarter is well pedestrianised. This is a great place where tourists begin their sightseeing.

Dusseldorf’s best cultural attractions come in the form of galleries and museums. Spread around the city are many imposing landmarks of great local significance.

Dusseldorf has plenty of tourist appeal and attracts thousands of visitors each year. The modern and vibrant city retains plenty of traditional character beneath its glamour, glitz and enormous trade fairs.

The main tourist attractions in Dusseldorf include the Rheinufer Promenade. Dusseldorf is bursting with culture and many exciting nightspots. There are plenty of culinary regional delights. Around the Old Town area of Dusseldorf, fine architecture lines much of the Rhine River.
