PerthIn the state of Western Australia, Perth is the largest city and its capital, fourth Australian city by the number of its population, which consistently grows at a rate above the national average. It is known as one of the most isolated big cities in the world.

When American astronaut John Glenn passed overhead while orbiting the earth in 1962 and in the Space Shuttle in 1998, city residents lit their houselights and streetlights, and Perth became since known worldwide as the “City of Light”.

With a growing economy, the Perth Central Business District is the hearth of the Perth’s commercial activity. This is a modern area with many shopping centers, restaurants and cafes. The entertainment and nightclub center is Northbridge. Brass Monkeys is another of the most famous spots in Perth City.

Among the big Australian cities, Perth is the most isolated, in the western corner of the country. It is indeed situated in the south west of the continent, between the Indian Ocean and a low coastal escarpment Darling Range. Suburbs of Perth and its central business district are located on the Swan River.

Perth is known to combine a cosmopolitan environment with a relaxed lifestyle. Privileged with a warm, sunny climate, Perth is located only minutes away from the Indian Ocean coast, with sandy beaches, ideal to enjoy of exciting outdoor activities.
