Drive in SwitzerlandSwitzerland is a relatively small country in the middle of Europe. Unless you take a freeway on flat fields, you may not find it so easy to drive in several areas of this country, where big mountains make it sometimes difficult. One popular route is the one from Geneva to Zurich, passing through Lausanne and Bern. There are less than 300 km and you can travel fast.

Closer you get to the Alps, more difficult becomes to travel without stops. There are places where your car must be taken by train. In the winter, some mountain passes may get closed.
