Weather in SydneyClimate of Sydney is temperate and oceanic. More extreme temperatures are recorded in the inland suburbs, but the weather in the city area is moderated by proximity to the ocean.

Weather in Sydney is a mixture of warm summers and cool winters. Rainfall is spread throughout the year, evenly divided between summer and winter. It rains more during the first half of the year, when easterly winds dominate.
