AdelaideAdelaide is the largest city in South Australia and the capital of this state. It is however smaller than other southeastern Australian big cities, such as Melbourne or Sydney, where demographic expansion was bigger in the last decades. The fifth largest city in Australia, Adelaide has a population of more than 1 million people.

Situated on the Adelaide Plains, on eastern side of Gulf St Vincent, Adelaide is a coastal city, at about 20 km from the coast, rising in the low-lying Mount Lofty Ranges. Continue reading »
