To cross the full 2,000 km from one extremity of the North Island to the opposite extremity of the South Island, it might take about 30 hours.

Best of AucklandThere are so many things to do and see in Auckland… Start with the Sky Tower, the highest building in the Southern Hemisphere, with a revolving restaurant at the top. Climb also to the top of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, well worth a look. Aotea Centre is a a multi-level theatre, a state of the art entertainment complex.

Located off the Tokatu Peninsula, Tawharanui Regional Park has snorkelling and camping, secluded beaches and fishing. The beautiful scenery of the area is great for picture taking. Continue reading »
