Some younger people may not like Perth so much because it is very isolated (the most isolated big Australian city, in the western corner of the country) and may look a but boring (not so many amusements, compared to other big Australian cities). Amazingly enough, they also love it for this lonely isolation, for its wonderful beaches and its calmness.

Immigration brought also a lot of Asians to Perth, and multicultural diversity is not for everyone necessarily a good thing. Traffic in Perth may be another disturbing issue. Continue reading »

Start your walk in Northbridge, Perth’s cultural and entertainment center. Perth has also wonderful beaches, such as the Cottesloe Beach, one of Australia’s most striking urban beaches, Trigg Beach or Scarborough Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Perth.

Sydney is today the largest and most dynamic city of Australia. Its metropolitan area is over 4 million people and still growing. Sydney is also the state capital of New South Wales. It was the first British colony in Australia, established in 1788 at Sydney Cove.
