With a population of about 2.3 million, considering the whole metropolitan area, Vienna is by far the largest city in Austria as well as its cultural, economic, and political center. The capital of Austria and Austria’s primary city is divided into 23 districts that radiate out from a city center, sort of like in Paris.

Anyone who takes an interest in art, especially of a decorative nature, will fall in love with Vienna. The Viennese like to say that Vienna is a village, but to the rest of the world this is the city of Mozart, Hapsburgs, horses and boy choirs. Continue reading »
