Put on some comfortable shoes and experience the 2.5-miles full of historical information, starting at Boston Common, one of the nation’s oldest existing public parks, a popular destination for recreational athletes, joggers, and protesters.

BostonBoston was founded in the 17th century by Puritan colonists from England. It is today the capital and largest city of the state of Massachusetts. Located in Suffolk County, in the northeastern United States, Boston is the largest city and the economic and cultural center of the New England.

The downtown is concentrated in the Cambridge–Boston-Quincy metropolitan area. Boston became in time a major shipping port and manufacturing center, and has expanded beyond the peninsula. Continue reading »

United StatesThe United States of America is one of the richest countries in the world, with a strong economy and huge military power. US cities are however rarely mentioned at the top of worldwide surveys and rankings for best cities. Criminal rates are still high, the terrorist threat is there and many social programs lack in proper medical coverage and sanitation.

There are however several great US cities. Hawaiian Honolulu is a great touristic destination, Minneapolis has cold weather but warm people and Boston is an aristocratic city. Continue reading »
