Weather in GenevaClimate of Geneva is temperate continental, with microclimates, due to the fact the city is situated just 374 meters above sea level, close to the mountains. Summers are pleasantly warm to hot, and winters relatively mild, with temperatures hovering just above or below freezing. Winds from the West bring warmth, while the famous North Wind (the Bise) brings colder temperatures, though often sunny conditions.

Drive in SwitzerlandSwitzerland is a relatively small country in the middle of Europe. Unless you take a freeway on flat fields, you may not find it so easy to drive in several areas of this country, where big mountains make it sometimes difficult. One popular route is the one from Geneva to Zurich, passing through Lausanne and Bern. There are less than 300 km and you can travel fast.
